Whitby 100
September 12-13, 2026

The Whitby 100 is a Category 3, long distance, overnight race in western Lake Ontario. It is approximately 100  nm in length.

 

There are 2 classes, PHRF FS (Flying Sails) and PHRF NFS (Non Flying Sails) and each may be subject to splits.

To compete, the boat must be registered, have a valid PHRF-LO certificate, pay the event fee (early $85 plus HST, late $120 plus HST), and the Skipper (Person in Charge) must be a member of Sail Canada.

 

Individuals and boats are required to comply with the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, Category 3 as adapted by Lake Ontario Offshore Racing. Coastal survival training is required for a portion of the crew.
