Cam Smith Open Regatta
July 25-26, 2026
The inaugural Cam Smith Open Regatta honours the life and achievements of Cam Smith, a lifelong sailor, dedicated Shark 24 racer and advocate for the class at the club, national and international levels. Cam lost his battle with cancer in 2025.
This event is part of the Whitby Yacht Club's 60th Anniversary celebrations.
Entry is open to the Shark 24 class and PHRF boats with or without Flying Sails. PHRF boats are subject to splits as described in the Notice of Race. A dual length windward/leeward course will be set using autonomous marks.
