The WYC currently has openings for members in all categories, and is pleased to answer any questions you may have.
Launch: By rented crane is LOA x Beam (the last number may be adjusted based on crane time).
Haulout: LOA x Beam (the last number may be adjusted based on crane time).
Boats weighting up to 6000 lbs and 9 ft beam may launch and haul using the club crane at no cost.
* After 28 months, upon full resignation from the club, a member may claim a partial refund of equity equal to one fifth (1/5) of the amount paid in. Refunds are payable after full payment of all club accounts and when funds are available in the equity account. Individuals whose membership is terminated are not entitled to an equity refund.
A CYA Membership fee of $22 will be charge to all sailing categories.
Each Senior, Drysail and Dinghy Member (or member's family) is required to contribute 20 hours of labour to the Club each year.
$45.00 will be charged to the member for each of the 20 hours not worked.In the first two years of membership these hours must be worked and may not be purchased.

2.2 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
2.2.1 Senior Member:
A Senior Member shall have the right to be on the dock seniority list and hold a dock and shall have the right, if otherwise qualified, to seek any office in the Club and to vote on all matters requiring a vote of the membership. These rights do not apply to any other category of membership.
2.2.2 Dry Sail Member:
Individuals who wish to participate in the activities of the Club and require marine facilities only for a boat (as defined from time to time by the Board) that can be launched/hauled by means of a ramp or other Club equipment approved by the Board, may apply to be a Dry Sail Member.
2.2.4 Social Member:
Individuals who wish to participate in the activities of the Club but do not require marine facilities may apply to be Social Members. The ratio of Social Members to Senior Members shall be determined by resolution of the Board from time to time.
2.2.5 Senior Associate Member (SAM):
188.8.131.52 Anyone who has been a Senior Member in good standing for not less than three years, who’s Member’s Equity fee or debenture (1973), and debenture (2008) are fully paid, and who wishes to take an extended leave from the Club of not less than 12 months may apply for Senior Associate Membership.
184.108.40.206 The full amount of the Member's Equity fee and/or all applicable debentures shall remain with the club, and the SAM shall retain the seniority number held at the time senior associate membership commenced, and may bid on available docks when full senior membership is resumed.
220.127.116.11 All property belonging to the SAM shall be removed from the Club grounds unless authorized by a motion of the Board and no charges may be made against the member's account.
18.104.22.168 Dues shall be prorated in the portion of the year preceding and following the period of SAM.
22.214.171.124 SAMs that have returned to Senior membership must remain a Senior member for at least 12 consecutive months before they may re-apply for SAM.
2.2.7 Honorary Member:
Honorary Membership shall be the same in all respects as a Social Membership except that no dues are charged. By the unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, Honorary Membership may be conferred upon an individual who is not a member of the Club. Honorary Membership shall be for a period of one year but may be renewed by succeeding Boards.
2.2.8 Honorary Life Membership:
126.96.36.199 A Senior Member who has a minimum of ten years seniority in the Club and who has performed signal service to the Club may, on the recommendation of the Board and by a majority vote at a general meeting of members, be elected to Honorary Life Membership upon retiring from active membership in the Club.
188.8.131.52 Honorary Life Membership is the highest form of award that the Club may confer on a member who has given long and outstanding service to the Club.
184.108.40.206 Honorary Life Membership shall be governed by the same terms that apply to Social Members except that no dues are charged.
2.2.9 Dinghy Member:
Individuals who wish to participate in the activities of the Club and require marine facilities only for a dinghy (as defined from time to time by the Board) that can be launched/hauled by means of a ramp or other Club equipment approved by the Board, may apply to be a Dinghy Member.
